1 1/2 inch (40 mm) Wide Leather Identification Collar with Hand Set ID Plate for Shar Pei
Parents teach their children their name, adress and names of his/her father and mother as soon as possible. In case a child gets lost this way he/she will be able to name himself/herself and to find the parents. Though dogs do not speak the problem is decided suprisingly easily. We’ve cared that your dog carries all necessary information with him not on some string that may get caught and torn away, but on a special ID-plate carefully hand rivetted exactly to the collar strap.

How to measure your Shar Pei for good fit Collar:
PAY ATTENTION BEFORE CHOOSING THE SIZE!:
- The collar will fit the size of your Shar Pei’s neck circumference on the central hole (the 3d one).
- Each collar has 5 holes with 1 inch (25 mm) distance between each two of them.
- It means that you have two extra holes (2 inches (50 mm) extra length) to adjust the collar for 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inch (55 cm) neck size.
- You will also have 2 smaller size holes to adjust the collar for 18 inch (45 cm) and 19 inch (47.5 cm) neck size.
- The tip of the collar (measuring after the last hole) is 2 inch (5 cm) long.
- As these are handcrafted collars, their sizes may differ a little, but not in a significant way.
- 2 ply leather collars and padded leather collars are 1 inch bigger to make sure that it will fit your dog.
This collar has a durable buckle and D-ring made of nickel plated steel which is a rustproof material.
The collar is wide which is good for dog’s neck trauma protection. When choosing the width of the color, please, take into consideration comfort of your dog and remember that the wide the collar the less risk to hurt his neck at sudden jerks (of course. its never recommended to pull rapidly and severely at all).
For this collar we’ve used quality full grain leather that was carefully oiled. There is no side stitching which means the edges are smooth and they won’t fray.
As full grain leather is used, natural leather structure is preserved so the collar is very durable.
Moreover it is beautiful. Plain leather strap with a glossy metal ID plate at the side - a decision for a stylish dog.
