How to measure your Shar Pei for good fit Collar:
PAY ATTENTION BEFORE CHOOSING THE SIZE!
- The collar will fit the size of your Shar Pei’s neck circumference on the central hole (the 3d one).
- Each collar has 5 holes with 1 inch (25 mm) distance between each two of them.
- It means that you have two extra holes (2 inches (50 mm) extra length) to adjust the collar for 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inch (55 cm) neck size.
- You will also have 2 smaller size holes to adjust the collar for 18 inch (45 cm) and 19 inch (47.5 cm) neck size.
- The tip of the collar (measuring after the last hole) is 2 inch (5 cm) long.
- As these are handcrafted collars, their sizes may differ a little, but not in a significant way.
- 2 ply leather collars and padded leather collars are 1 inch bigger to make sure that it will fit your dog.
This collar is made of full grain leather and decorated with quality metal fittings.
Plates are hand set with nickel plates. Buckle and D-ring are made of quality nickel which means the hardware won’t rust ore loose it’s brightness with time.
The collar is rather wide which turns it into a comfy tool for walking and training. The more is the width of the collar the better is distribution of a load, so there is less pressure onto some specific part of a dog’s neck. Still don’t forget that to reach maximum comfort and safety for your dog you should make your size choice correctly. Follow our advice to take into consideration all the necessary details.
